Water Rate Fees

1.         Any  residence, the rental of which results in Transient Occupancy Tax being collected, shall be charged for water at the commercial rate.

2.         Any residence being operated as a Home Occupation shall be charged for water at the commercial rate if the following conditions are met: 

a.      a business or business function is being conducted on the premises, &

b.      water consumption meets or exceeds 25,000 gal/qtr.

 These guidelines were used to determine corrections in the water rate for certain businesses by the Public Works Committee at the meeting held on Thursday, December 21, 2000.
